Hindustani classical music
Hindustani classical music is the foundation of any form of instrumental music or singing in any language from the northern regions of the Indian subcontinent – Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, ujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Pashto, Nepali, and others, whether it is Film Songs, Bhajans, Ghazals or Folk Songs. If you want to sing well, there is simply no substitute to methodically learning the basics of Sargam, Alankar, Raag, Aalaap, Taal, and Taan.
Hindustani classical music has a long tradition of being taught and learnt face-to-face. These lessons are our humble contribution to help those who wish to learn this sublime, soulful music, but do not have access to a good teacher locally from whom they can learn face-to-face.
We have short video clips of lessons on how to play the Tabla, and how to Sing, complete with notations and explanations. The lessons feature Shri Manish shirbhayye Nagpur, a passionate and highly knowledgeable teacher and performer with decades of experience. Sir was awarded the Order of Bhavans Medal in 2014 for his contributions to propagating Hindustani classical music .
We have lessons for beginners as well as those who may have learnt elsewhere before, and they are for all ages. We are continuously also adding new lessons.
we offer a 500 per month subscription to join all other Lessons for 1.Instrumental-(guitar,Tabla,Harmonium and Keyboard) 2.Dance(Bhartnatyam ,Ktthak) and 3.Vocal. (The monthly cost is even lesser if you subscribe for yearly or lifetime.) Contact for registration
